A Thousand Journeys Before Me is my debut EP, bringing together classical composition, West African musical traditions, piano, strings, voice, and percussion. Across three pieces, the music explores ancestry, identity, movement, and the continuing journey of the African soul.

THE THREE PIECES

1 - Serenade for the African Soul

A slow, lyrical, and cinematic work that speaks to the African soul around the world. Through piano, strings, flute, voice, and Ghanaian Kpanlogo percussion, the piece explores pride, spirituality, resilience, and the beauty of identity.

2 - I Am Ready

A powerful declaration of courage and transformation. Inspired by Ghanaian Jama rhythms, the piece combines driving percussion, orchestral textures, and piano to express determination, expansion, and the strength to step into a new chapter.

3 - Mamma

A gentle 12/8 lullaby inspired by Agbadza rhythms. A tribute to African mothers around the world, celebrating love, sacrifice, gratitude, and the generations that allow us not only to survive, but to thrive.
